An Evening with Christine Estima
After a considerable break, I am back with what is sure to be a fun evening in an Igloo in Victoria Park. I just couldn’t resist this symbol of Canadian winter for our next gathering.
Christine Estima will join us to discuss her debut novel Letters to Kafka on Monday, March 2nd in the “Dome” at the Boathouse DTK.

“A luminous novel of charged defiance and potent desire … brimming with creative energy … the emotive, highly stylised prose […] builds to a rewardingly layered, compulsive rhythm. - MAISONNEUVE MAGAZINE, Fall 2025 issue
“A richly imagined and deeply felt narrative […] Letters to Kafka is a powerful blend of history and fiction, and a worthy reminder of the great women who have lived too long in the shadows of great men,” ZOOMER MAGAZINE, Nov. 2025
